Human-Robot Interaction/Social Science

Experiment comparing robot acceptance/likability for robots of different morphologies and with conforming/divergent behavior to their morphology

Project Gallery

Social science/Human-robotic interaction study using three different form factors of robots (morphologies) all built on the EV3 platform to tell a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style story. Before the interaction, participants used a validated question set (GATORS) to determine their positive and negative feelings about robots.  After the interaction, robots were rated by participants using Likert-style questions to measure robot acceptance and compare between different morphologies and between the same morphology with behavior/mannerisms conforming or not conforming to the morphology.
